Kirwan Second In Cork Marathon
Mark Kirwin took second place in the Cork City Marathon posting two hours 25 minutes 18 seconds behind Gary O’Hanlon who won out in 2:21.10. Maher & Farrelly land All-Ireland Schools Gold
The 2018 All-Ireland schools track and field championship saw Raheny Shamrock athlete’s collect two gold, three silver and a bronze medal. Czech Fifth For Clohisey, Kirwan and O’Driscoll PB
Mick Clohisey took fifth place at the České Budějovice half-marathon in the Czech Republic posting 65 minutes 40 seconds. The race was won outright by Britain’s Luke Traynor in 63 minutes 40 seconds. Clohisey was just 32 seconds off third place which was taken by Austrian Valentin Pfeil.
