Wednesday October fifth saw the welcome return of the Brothers schools cross country in Trinity Sports grounds after a Covid hiatus of two years. Despite the weather warning of torrential rain, the sun shone on Clonmel long enough for nearly 700 masters athletes ranging from 35-80 to compete a hugely challenging course to determine the world champions in all masters ages. Over four days on two different tracks over 90 Raheny juveniles proudly wore the club colours and excelled in their chosen events.
