Another big weekend for Raheny athletes as Mark Smyth set another club record and Brian Fay scored a massive win in America. Fogarty Triumphant At Dublin Graded

Niamh Fogarty made a good welcome return to competition with victory at the second Dublin graded meet in Tallaght on Wednesday night. Fogarty threw a best of 50.52 metres in the discus to register victory. Anna Gavigan of LSA took second place with a best of 44.13 metres. Fay Sets New Club 1500m Record

Brian Fay set a new club 1500 metre record on Saturday night at the On Track Fest me in Mt. San Antonio College Fay finished sixth in 3:38.39 representing Washington State university. The time bettered Fay’s previous record of 3:40.40 which was posted 12 months ago on May 6 2022.
