Round three of the 2022/23 Winter league takes place this Wednesday night January fourth at 8pm. Wednesday night’s race takes place over three miles. There are nine races remaining in the series. Mick Clohisey got his 2023 off to a very encouraging start taking third place at the Resolution 10k in Galway city. Clohisey clocked 30 minutes 57 seconds just four seconds off second placed Jamie Fallon of Craughwell. Finley Daly of Sligo won out in 30:46. Robert Frewen was also in action clocking 33:40 to finish 10th overall.
David Rooney was first Raheny athlete home at the Tom Brennan 5K on New Year’s Day posting 15:54 for 11th place.
