Brian Fay Gets Euro Cross Country Call

Brian Fay has been selected for the Irish senior men’s team for the 2023 European Cross Country Championship. Fay finished fifth at last weekend’s national senior cross country championship and impressed the selectors to make the Irish team for Brussels. Brian Fay took fifth place in the National cross country championship in Gowran on a day for real cross country running. Tough underfoot conditions made it a very different race with Fay taking fifth place about 50 metres behind winner Cormac Dalton of Mullingar Harriers. Fay led the men’s team to sixth place overall.
