Kieran Kelly produced an excellent Christmas morning run to win the Raheny Shamrock Goal Mile (Race down the avenue). Kelly posted 3:40 (hand timed) to claim victory some five seconds ahead of Andrew Hyland. Kelly retained the Billy Peppard Cup and created a new record sixth win. Raheny Shamrock host a Goal Mile on Christmas Day in St. Anne’s Park, start time is 11am. The starting point is the gates at Sybill Hill entrance to the Main Avenue. The race is the full length of the Main Avenue in St. Anne’s Park, finishing where the Mansion House once stood.
