Round Two of the 2022-23 Winter League takes place this Wednesday December 14 at 8pm. Round two is ran over two miles. This is the last Winter league race of 2022. The series resumes on January fourth over three miles. There are 11 races in total in the series. Entry is €50 for the full series or €7 per race. We are now less than seven weeks away from the 39th AXA Raheny 5 which take place on Sunday January 29th 2023 at 3pm. We require 100 plus marshals to ensure this race runs smoothly. It was a tough day at the office for Brian Fay and the Irish senior men’s team in Turin at the European Cross Country championship. Ronan Wogan was just outside the medal’s at the Dublin intermediate cross country held in a snow fallen Tymon Park. Wogan was just 11 seconds off bronze which went to Rathfarnham’s David Power. Portmarnock’s Graham Gilshinan took gold with Cathal McShane of Clonliffe taking silver.
