Wogan Fourth In Dublin Intermediate

Ronan Wogan was just outside the medal’s at the Dublin intermediate cross country held in a snow fallen Tymon Park.

Wogan was just 11 seconds off bronze which went to Rathfarnham’s David Power. Portmarnock’s Graham Gilshinan took gold with Cathal McShane of Clonliffe taking silver.

The men’s team of Wogan, Eoin Keegan (22nd), Davey Duane (29th) and Mark McComish (46) finished sixth with a total of 101 points.

Aoibhe Rooney took 12th place in the women’s race.

Elsewhere, Kieran Kelly won the Eskra 5K on a hilly course in Co. Tyrone on Saturday. Kelly posted 14.47 for victory from a solo run.

While Paul Frewen posted 74 minutes 22 seconds in the Malga half-marathon on Sunday.
