Graham Ahearne posted a very impressive 2:37.47 at the Manchester marathon on Sunday to take 34th place overall. There were good sub three hour performance also from Eoin Connolly 2:52.25 and Chris Quaid 2:59.10. Very well done to three excellent performances.

Raheny Shamrock swept the boards at this years National Road Relay championship held in Raheny for the 20th consecutive occasion. The senior men’s team were convincing winners of their title making it five-in-a-row! and the the club’s 11th national road relay title. Mick Clohisey landed his second national marathon title when he won the 2021 Belfast Marathon in 2:20.42. Clohisey who last won the national marathon title in 2018 was clear at half-way and posted a 2:20.42 having done all the hard work.
