National T&F Championships

There were some great performances over the weekend at the T&F championships with medals and club records set. Mick Clohisey won bronze in the 10000m in 29:50.42. The women’s 4×400 team also won bronze with a time of 4:08.79. Sue Scallan set a new club record in the 400m heats running 55.21. She ran 55.37 for 7th place in the final. Lord Mayor Round 3

Mick Traynor was tonight’s winner of the Lord Mayor series 2mile. Mick won in a time of 10:17 with David Byrne second in 10:46 and Mick King third in 11:12. Sarah Quigley was first female in 12:16 with Catriona Costello second in 12:34 and Deirdre Fitzsimons third in 13:12.

Kieran Kelly ran a new club record on his way to victory in the Noel Carroll 800m at the GV Ryan/IMC meet. In windy conditions Kieran ran 1:48.98 for the victory.
