In April the National 10K road race and the National Road Relays take place.
Raheny Shamrock as always are looking to compete in every category in both races.
Any female athletes who are interested in entering the national 10K/Great Ireland Run, please inform women’s cross country and road captain Orla Manley.

For the men’s team, cross country and road captain Dick Hooper explains,
On April ninth the national Road 10k/Great Ireland run takes place in the Phoenix Park while on April 23rd the National Road Relays take place in Raheny.
Six national team titles at stake for senior men, masters 35 and masters 50 and we want to win all six to add to the three cross country titles already won in 2016/17.
For the 10k entry must be done by yourself online via the Athletics Ireland website.Please note they have an entry deadline of March 21st.
Please let me know when you have entered so as I can get a handle on teams.
For Road Relays I intend to enter three teams in each category.
There is no set criteria for selection other than current known form but upcoming Holland Cup and in particular the Raheny Mile on April 19th will be observed with particular interest.
