Covid-19 Guidelines Update

From midnight tonight Ireland will move to a new phase of covid-19 management. This phase will run until Monday October 22nd.

We have reviewed the updated guidelines in-line with advice from Sport Ireland.

From Monday the club will be following these updated guidelines.

Outdoor training

Training can now take place without pods.

All coaches should continue to report training group details to our covid-19 safety officer Larry Fox for contact tracing.

Anyone with covid-19 symptoms do not attend training and should follow public health guidance.

Indoor training

Training can now take place indoors under the following guidelines;

  1. The venue must have passed a covid-19 risk assessment.
  2. Anyone with covid-19 symptoms do not attend training and should follow public health guidance.
  3. All training group details must be reported to our covid-19 safety officer Larry Fox for contact tracing.
  4. Pods of 100 can take part once all members of the pod have a valid covid cert or Pods of six for those not vaccinated or covid recovered.

Indoor meetings

Cross-country, road, track and field meets (events hosted by Raheny Shamrock Athletic Club)

All sporting restrictions are lifted.

A 75% spectator limit per venue is in place.

Contact tracing for non-Raheny Shamrock Athletic Club members must continue.

Anyone with covid-19 symptoms do not attend and should follow public health guidance.

Transport

Carpooling can resume when travelling to training and or race meets. We recommend all members of the car pool to wear a face covering for the duration of the trip.

Raheny Shamrock Clubhouse

The Raheny Shamrock clubhouse is closed to all members except members of the club committee.
