With the likely announcement next week that the 2021 National Road Relays will take place on October third, athletes with designs on making the club teams have a chance to mark the selectors cards.
There are three Club races over the next 10 days that offer real opportunities to impress. This applies to Men and Women, Senior, Over-35 and Over-50.
The final round of the 2021 Lord Mayor of Raheny races over the usual 2 mile distance is first up next Tuesday September 21st .
The following Sunday, 26th at 10am sees the revamped Joe Noonan Cup over 5 miles take at 7.45pm place.
Finally on Tuesday September 28th The Raheny Open Mile promises to be a cracker.
With restrictions loosening all the time, now comes the opportunities for athletes starved of competition for so long the opportunity to race.
