Kay Bannon’s women’s team took bronze at the National indoor league final in Abbotstown on Saturday.
There were victories on the day for Charlotte Wingfield in the 200 metres posting 24.55 seconds.
Valentina Marzari Martens in the shot put with a best of 12.46m and the weight for distance with a best of 5.26 metres.
Kim O’Hare won the triple jump with a best of 10.93 metres and took third place in the long jump with a best of 4.98m.
Tara Meier won the 60 metre hurdles in 9.04 seconds and took fourth place in the 60 metres in 8.09 seconds.
Niamh Kearney took an excellent 1500 metres second place in 4:25.42. Susie O’Flynn finished third in the 800m in 2:21.85.
While there were fourth place finishes for Triona Nic Dhomhnaill in the 400 metres in 63.98 and the 4x200m relay team of Charlotte Wingfield, Hannah Byrne, Sarah Tate, Caroline Kavanagh in 1:48.95.
That gave Raheny bronze with 57 points, 20 points clear of fourth place Clonliffe. DSD took silver with 60 points and Leevale gold with 63 points.
