Raheny Compete At National Track & League Final

The national track and field season came to a conclusion on Sunday with the national track & field league final in Tullamore.

Not a great day from a Raheny perspective, but some good performances overall.

The men’s team finished seventh in the national league final. There were nine point performances from Colm Bourke (long jump and triple jump) and Robert Frewen 5,000m. There were seven point performances from Sean Maher (hammer) and Kieran Kelly (1500m).

The women’s team finished sixth with Niamh McCorry (shot put), Niamh Kearney (1500m) and seven point performances from Lucy Barrett (3000m) and Helen Buckley (weight for distance).
