Jamie Whelan came home in fifth place as the Raheny men’s team won the Star of the sea Michelle McKiernan 5k.
Whlen clocked 16:13 for fifth place. The race was won by Olympian Andrew Coscoran in 14:53.
Luiz Maciel Melo was sixth in 16:33 and with Gareth Hogan in 18th place in 18:05 sealed the victory for the Raheny team.
The next Raheny athlete home was Ger Fay in 33:42.
