Brian Fay set a new club 1500m record when posting 3:36.52 at the Meeting Citta’ Di Padova on Sunday.
Fay dropped down the distances to set a new personal best, when finishing 10th in Italy, but just three seconds off victory!
Mohad Abdikadar Sheik Ali of the Italian military won out in 3:33.79.
Fay took a massive three point 48 seconds off his previous best set in California on June fifth 2022.
Another brilliant performance for Brian, who is now beginning his preparations for next year’s Olympic Games.
