Sophie Becker, Brian Fay, Eric Favors and Mark Smyth have all been selected for the European Championships in Rome.
Sophie Becker has been selected in the 400 metres and as part of both the mixed 4x400m and women’s 4x400m relay teams.
Brian Fay has been selected in both the 5,000m and 10,000m.
Eric Favors will take part in the shot put. While Mark Smyth has been named in the 4x100m relay team.
With four athletes, Raheny Shamrock have the most representatives of any club on the Irish senior team.
While, Ciliian Kirwan (800m) and Mark Smyth (200m) have been provisionally selected and are awaiting qualification on ranking points.
The list of qualifiers are set to be published on Wednesday May 29th.
This will be a second European Championship appearance for Becker, Fay, Favors and Smyth who all competed in Munich 2022.
The European Championships take place from June 7-12 in the Olympic Stadium, Rome.
