A good haul of medals from the national U23 T&F championship in Tullamore on Saturday
Tara Meier took bronze in the 100 metres hurdles posting 14.97 seconds. A race won by St Laurence O’Toole’s Arabella Adekoya in 14.27 with Annalee’s Bevan McCaffrey second in 14.49 seconds.
Michael Farrelly took silver in the 100 metres posting 10.56 seconds with Isreal Olatunde winning out in 10.35 seconds. Farrelly booked his place in the final, winning his head in 10.66 seconds.
Farrelly took sixth place in the 200 metres posting 22.23 seconds. Farrelly made the final posting 22.58 seconds.
Craig Tinaye Mukanya was just outside the medals in the 400m posting 52.03 seconds. Mukanya made the final posting 53.33 seconds in the heats. While Conall Rogers took seventh place in the 800m clocking 1:56.32.
