At the Autumn Open Cross country Kate Purcell took second place in the women’s master’s race behind Fiona Gettings of Longford. Also racing were Zoe Quinn fifth F45 and Orla Gormley fourth F60.
While David Kirwan finished fourth M45 in the masters men’s race.
In the senior men race Dylan O’Brien finished 34th and Graham O’Dwyer 41st. In the junior men’s race Jamie Whelan took 14th place. In the Autumn Experience race Angela Charlton posted 21:06.
On the roads, Lisa McCarthy clocked three hours 41 22 seconds at the Chicago marathon, Lisa raising a substantial amount for the Irish cancer society as part of her four under four hours challenge.
At the An Cosantoir 10km on Wednesday Stephen Butler posted 35:04 followed by Dylan Evenden 47:11, Des Lyons 53:09 and Gerard Fay 54:27.
