Kieran Kelly took fourth place at the Newel 5K in Coalisland posting 14 minutes 55 seconds in a very close race.
North Belfast’s Finn McNally won out in 14:43 with Jonny Spratt second in 14:51 and Noah Kavanagh of Lagan Valley third in 14:55, just ahead of Kelly.
Meanwhile, Robert Lea took fourth place at today’s Clare Burren Marathon in 3:16:43 with Brendan Potter posting 5:05:22.
Elsewhere, Sam Robinson posted 30:45 at the Culmullen 5 Mile and at the Brussels 20km Robert Frewen clocked 74:12. At the North Clondalkin Half Marathon Gerard Fay clocked 2:04:29.
At the Newry Half Marathon Stephen McDonnell posted 93:20 and Martin McKenna 1:41:26.
While on Saturday, Fay posted 33:49 at the IGBF 4 Mile. Also on Saturday, at the Lap of the Gap Half Marathon Patrick Claffey clocked 2:04:35 and Henrietta Nish 2:22:00.
On Tuesday, Anthony O’Brien took third place in the Bob Heffernan & Mary Hanley 5km on Tuesday evening.
O’Brien posted 14 minutes 33 seconds with Kevin Kelly of St. Cocas winning out in 14:25 and Clonliffe’s Fintan Kerins third in 14:29.
Also running were, Adam Condon 15:15, David Rooney 15:23, Cian Charlton 15:30, Graham O’Dwyer 16:06, Cpmpr Grant 16:09, Sean Kelly 17:21, Iseult O’Donnell 17:26.
John Clarke 17:40, Brian Connor 19:54 John McManus 19:58, Paul Curtayne 20:20 and Aileen Cooke 21:05. While Gerard Fay posted 40:42 at the Naas 5 mile on Friday.
