Bronze Medals Collected At National 10 Mile Road Race

Michael Brady was first home at the national 10 mile championships in the Phoenix Park in 53:50.

Brady was followed home by Cillian O’Leary in 54:37, Barry Meehan 56:59, Graham Ahearne 57:49, Sean Kelly 60:18, Brian Kelly 62:09, Eric Champ 62:47.

Eoghan Wrafter 63:11, Keith Fleming 65:09, Philip McGovern 66:22, Anthony Lee 69:00, Aoife Talty 69:21, Maria Dolan 70:21, Ronan Harris 70:56, Brian McWeeney 71:11.

Ken Doyle 73:23, Muireann Browne 74:47, Darren Meikle 76:34, Nick Alexander 77:14, Conor Wynne Walsh 77:38, Darragh Shields 78:47, Carl Moore 81:30, Gerard Fay 88:31 and Angela Charlton 96:34.

There was bronze for the men’s team of Michael Brady, Cillian O’Leary and Barry Meehan. There was also bronze for the O/35 team of Graham Ahearne, Sean Kelly and Brian Kelly.

Whereas there was silver for the O/50 team of Eric Champ, Keith Fleming and Philip McGovern.

On Saturday, Brian Connor posted 42:13 at the Kiltale 10km with Gerard Fay clocking 53:33.

Orla Gormley was first home at the BHAA Dublin City Council 5km on Thursday in 21:31.

Orla was followed home by Nick Alexander 21:36, Colm Gormley 22:48, Lorna Christie 24:55, Gerard Fay 25:50, Davy Byrne 26:39, Angela Charlton 26:41, Sinead Lyons 28:07 and Gerry Christie 28:38.
