The 2024 Lord Mayor of Raheny Two Mile series gets underway this Tuesday June 11th at 8pm. The series returns 25 years after its inception in 1999. Ciara Brady was first Raheny athlete home at the women’s mini marathon on Sunday. Brady took 14th place in 38 minutes 12 seconds. The race was won outright by Ide Nic Domhnaill in 33:22. Cillian O’Leary took an impressive seventh place at the Cork City Marathon yesterday. O’Leary clocked 2:31:24 for seventh place in a race won by Pawel Kosek in 2:23.54.
