Becker Steers Ireland to Relay Final
Sophie Becker steered Ireland to the 4x400m European Championship final this morning in Rome. The Irish team won their semi-final as Sharlene Mawdsley produced another big final leg to see Ireland win in 3:24.81. Becker led the team out handing over to Phil Healy (Leevale) in third place with Lauren Cadden (Sligo) hanging in the top four as Sharlene Mawdsley to bring the team home.
