Congratulations to Desmond O’Neill who won 400m hurdles gold at the SIAB schools international. O’Neill posted 54.25 seconds for victory over fellow Irish athlete Jack Keating. Daughter/Mother One-Two in John Fennell Cup
The 2024 John Fennell Cup saw a first ever daughter/mother one-two as Rachel Costello won out with her mother Caitriona taking second place. Brian Sexton claimed victory in the men’s race with a very competitive top three.
John Fennell Two Mile Race On Tuesday
The 2024 John Fennell Cup take places this Tuesday, incorporating round seven of the Lord Mayor of Raheny Two mile series. Entry is €7 for each race or €50 for the remaining eight races and the 2024 Jim Wall Handicap on Tuesday September 10th. Roche Takes Bronze In 10 Mile Medal Haul
Fiona Roche took national 10 mile bronze and led the women’s team home to gold at the Biofreeze Irish Runner 10 Mile on Sunday Morning. Roche posted 60 minutes 54 seconds for bronze.
