Weekend Road Racing Round-up
At the Polish Independence Run Ronan Harris was first shamrock home in 44:34. Harris was followed home by Dorota O’Brien 51:06, Lorna Christie 51:11, Colm Keady 51:33 and Gerry Christie 63:12. Jeff Moore posted 19 minutes and 40 seconds at the Liberties AS I AM 5K. A number of members took part in the Remembrance Run.
Dublin Junior and U19 medals in Westmeath
The rescheduled Dublin senior, Junior and U19 championships took place on Saturday, running with the Leinster championships in Kilbeggan. Thus each race had two or three races held within. Unfortatunetly this was a necessary evil, after the Dublin championships were called off last weekend due to Corkagh Park being deemed too wet. There was good news in Westmeath.
