60th Women’s Membership Anniversary On Wednesday
This Wednesday September 24 will see a special celebration as the club celebrates 60-years since women’s members were accepted. A special meet-up will take place in our clubhouse on Wednesday afternoon, which will include many of the members from that era. Michael Brady First Home At Berlin Marathon
Michael Brady led home a sizable contingent at the Berlin Marathon in 2:20:30. Brady was followed home by John Sheridan 2:49:37, Robert Frewen 2:53:04, Ian McConkey 2:57:30, Colm Dunne 3:05:38, Wes O’Brien 3:06:10, Erik Champ 3:22:49, Andrew McQuillan 3:59:54, Gordon Manning 4:11:33 and Greg O’Beirne 4:27:48.
Stack Third At Dublin Half Marathon
Fiona Stack was third woman home at the Irish Life Dublin Half Marathon in 81 minutes 23 seconds. Caitlyn Harvey of Roadrunners AC won out in 78:44. The Antrim athlete, was runner-up at the national half-marathon. Whereas, Maebh Brannigan of Galway City Harriers took second palce, 13 seconds adrift in 78:57 with Stack third.
