Freddy Sittuk won the Seamus Weldon 5k in 15:29 which was hosted by Ardee AC with Cillian O’Leary finishing third in 15:54 and Simon Ryan finishing 4th in 16:09. The trio took home the Seamus Weldon Memorial Cup for the team prize
Tonight was saw the 29th edition of the Jim Wall handicap race take place. A staggered start saw a bunched finish with James Fitzgerald, a relation of Jim’s, taking the honours in 17:55 ahead of father George Fitzgerald in 18:09 and Ray McCormack in third in 18:21. Overall winners of the series were also crowned tonight. Dermot Gorman was crowned overall men’s winner with 5 victories and 3 second place…
