Club Statement – Mark Kirwan Injury

Raheny Shamrock Athletic Club wish to advise Mark Kirwan was moved to hospital having suffered a suspected dislocated shoulder during Sunday’s Irish Life Health National Road Relay championships. Mark suffered the injury during the opening lap of the first leg, however returned to the course to bring the team home in fourth for his leg. The team went onto claim the national title. Parkrun Round Up April 22

Wesley O’Brien burst the tape in Malahide for victory on Saturday morning clocking 17 minutes 12 seconds with Robert Frewen 20 seconds behind making it a Raheny 1-2. Other competitors in Malahide where John Clarke 20:12, Eddie Harrison 21:44 and Steven Rowe 23:20. Brighid Smyth posted 25:38 in Marlay Park.
