Kieran Kelly took third place in the Bucharest mile on the road posting four minutes 11 seconds. A very impressive time by Kelly as this is out of season for mile racing. After a very successful 60th Anniversary in the Clontarf Hotel which saw over 220 people in attendance. The attendees were witness to a view presentation, looking back over the history of our club. Directed by Rachel Markey and available here.
The club’s 60th anniversary dinner dance takes place, this Friday evening at 7pm in Clontarf Castle. The reception begins at 7pm, sit down at 8pm sharp, over 220 tickets have been sold for what will be a fabulous night. Seating is unreserved in the main hall. One Life One Club
Ailish Murtgh claimed the Dublin junior cross country championship, some 10 seconds clear of DSD’s Emma Ryan. A very solid win by Murtagh, with Aoibhinn McGoldrick fourth, some 16 seconds of a medal in Santry. Ruth Colbert took ninth place. Unfortunately Murtagh, McGoldrick and Colbert were the club’s only two competitors in the junior women’s race where just 11 athlete’s finished the course.
