Congratulations to the men’s team who qualified for the indoor league final which takes place in Athlone thisSaturday Feb 6th. Winter League Round 6

Donal Foley was tonight’s winner in the latest round of the Winter League. In the 3 mile race, Donal finished in 16:17, two seconds ahead of Damien Martin with Dave Byrne back in third in 16:46. Helen Carr was first woman in 19:38, with Deirdre Fitzsimons in second in 21:08 and Jenny Colbert third in 21:23. The league continues in two weeks.

Clohisey and Cullen win Raheny 5 titles

Local favourite Mick Clohisey won the AXA Raheny 5 this afternoon. On a new course and with windy conditions he clocked 24:05. Foyle Valley’s Scott Rankin was second in 24:24 with Ennis Track’s Rory Chesser third in 24:33. Kelly sets club record with victory

Kieran Kelly set a new club indoor record in the 1500m in Glasgow. Competing at the Scottish Championships and stepping up from his favoured 800m, Kieran ran 3:52:74 for the metric mile as he won the 1500m title.
