The 2025-26 Winter League continues on Wednesday December 10th at 8pm over three miles. This is the final race of 2025 and the series moves bi-weekly into 2026. It was a day in thick mud at the national novice cross country championship at the national cross country arena in Abbotstown. It was another good day at the national uneven cross country championship in Abbotstown. It was wet and mucky day with not much evidence of grass to be seen through the muck. Weekend Road Racing Round-up
A large number of Raheny athletes travelled to Lanzarote for Saturday’s 10K and half-marathon and Marathon. In warm and windy conditions, Micheal Counsel was first home in the half-marathon in 86:07. Phil McGovern posted 94:10minutes (3rd in category). McGovern was followed home by Dave O’Hara 99:46, Martin Kelly 1:44.53 and Dave Feeney 1:52.11 and Orla Mc Elhinney 1:59.16.
