Favors Sets New Irish Indoor Shot Put Record
Eric Favors broke his own Irish indoor shot put record, throwing 19.99m, finishing fourth in the early hours of this morning at the Larry Wieczorek Invitational in Iowa. Favors broke the 20-meter mark several times during last year’s outdoor season. The season made Favors Ireland’s number one shot put thrower. A brilliant start to 2023 for Eric where we hope to see more great performances.

Mark Smyth set a new club indoor 60 metre record when he posted 6.80 seconds to win heat three of the NIA live meet in the national indoor arena on Wednesday night.
