The 2022-23 Winter League begins this Wednesday November 30 at 8pm. The race series begins with round one over three miles, followed by a two mile race over two miles. Jesus Calle Arroyo claimed the Clontarf half-marathon this morning in 74 minutes 20 seconds. Arroyo was some 30 seconds clear of Star of the sea’s Ciaran McKenna. Paddy Fay Awarded National Services to Coaching Award
Raheny Shamrock stalwart Paddy Fay has been honoured at the National Athletics Awards with the services to coaching award. Fay was the first juvenile member of Raheny Shamrock and with the late Brian Corcoran, Roger Kingston and Alan Brennan was part of the club team to win the 1970 national 4x400m relay title.
