Brian Fay has been selected on the Irish team for next month’s European cross country championship in Turin. Fay has been in excellent form this cross country season winning the NCAA West conference and finishing 13th at the national NCAA. National Cross Country Round-Up
A tough day at the national cross country championships in Rosapenna, Co. Donegal, the first time since 2014 that the championships took place outside Dublin. Kate Purcell in 28th place led the women’s team home to eighth place. Purcell was joined by Lucy Barrett 46th, Aisling Ahern 45 and Zoe Quinn 58th.
