Paul Curtayne beat the handicapper to win the 2024 Donagh Lynch Cup. On a poor night weather wise Curtayne, a late entrant got the better of the handicapper to claim victory. Second was the 2022 winner Gary Power and third was Colm Cahill. Full result of the gun to tape race is below.

Mark Smyth won the intervarsity 200 metres posting 21.08 seconds with some time to spare on Andrew Egan. Smyth of DCU won his heat in 21.35 seconds before going to win outright gold in 21.08 with Egan posted 21.65 for silver. Tara Meier took 60 metres hurdles bronze posting 8.84 seconds. Shamrock Women Take National Intermediate Bronze

Kate Crowley led the Raheny Shamrock team home to an impressive bronze medal at the national intermediate cross country. The Raheny team of Crowley (14th), Orlaith Smith (20th), Sarah Deneher (30th) and Clodagh Foley (36th) led the team home to 100 points. The team pipping Sportsworld to bronze by one point!
