Fay sets new club steeplechase record

Brian Fay continued his excellent form in Hungary today setting a new personal best and club steeplechase record of eight minutes 29.76 seconds. Fay finished second in Magyar in the Hungarian grand prix, the race was won by Wilberforce Kones in 8:29.43. Kearney sets new club 1500m record

Niamh Kearney set a new club 1500m record at the Irish Milers club meeting in Belfast today rewriting the oldest club record. Kearney clocked four minutes 19.92 seconds for second place behind Carla Sweeney of Rathfarnham who clocked 4:17.57.
