Brian Fay’s massive 2022 continued when he posted a new club 1500 metres record at the Sound Running meet in California. Fay posted 3:40.43 for ninth place overall. Clohisey Wins Drogheda 10K

Mick Clohisey produced a convincing performance to win the Drogheda 10K by nearly two minutes on Sunday. Clohisey posted 30:41 for victory ahead of Aaron Smith of Cillies who clocked 32:11. Good Performances At Irish Milers Club

A number of Raheny athlete’s got their track season underway on Saturday at the Irish milers club meet. Niamh Kearney took second place in the women’s A 1500m posting 4:24.12 just behind Clonliffe’s Emma Mitchell in 4:23.12. Lucy Barrett posted 4:41.85. The Dublin graded track and field series kicked off in Tallaght track, with a number of good performances Southside!
