Raheny Library are celebrating 50 years on Saturday September 10th between 2pm and 4pm and you are invited to attend. Raheny Library is a cornerstone of the history of Raheny village and the community and holds a host of information on Raheny Shamrock and the Raheny area. Dave Brady Makes 1000 Marathons+

Dave Brady has set a new record for the most amount of marathon’s completed in Ireland. Dave completed his 1,000th marathon at the Longford marathon on Sunday last and that didn’t stop Dave as he clocked up his 1,001st marathon on Wednesday. Very well done to Dave who completed his 100th marathon at the 2007 Dublin marathon. Here’s to the next 1000 marathons.

Please drop into the clubhouse from noon this Saturday (September 3rd) and help clear the clubhouse garden/courtyard area. Please bring garden tools if possible. People will be there all day so come and go as your availability will allow. All help will make a difference!

Green, White and Green Available In Further Shops

The book on the history of the club’s senior Irish internationals is now available in Hodges Figgis on Dawson St and Book Haven shops in Artane, Donaghmede and Sutton. We are grateful to both for stocking the book. Super Valu Raheny will also be stocking the book from this weekend.
