Bernard Roe made a welcome return to racing when he won the St Anne’s Park run in 18 minutes 12 seconds after a long injury absence. The Peter Doody 3,000 metre classic takes place in ALSAA on the track this Tuesday evening at 7.30pm. Peter was a loyal Raheny Shamrock member, having tragically passed away in 2003, and the club honours Peter’s memory with a three mile road race in August.
