Motivational coach Michael Ostinellie will give a presentation to athletes and a coaches in Clontarf Castle tomorrow night, Wednesday at 7.15pm. Michael is director of the Pacific Institute Ireland, previously he has worked with athletes, coaches and recently the Irish hockey team that competed in Rio as well as business leaders in mastering the psychological aspects of peak performances. Murtagh’s helps team to bronze in Abbotstown

Ailish Murtagh helped the under 19 team to Dublin championship bronze with a fourth place finish in Abotstown on Sunday. Murtagh along with Ailbhe Finnigan with both Caoimhe Flynn and Emma Harrision stepping up an age group to make the team. Freddy third in Abbotstown

Freddy Keron-Sittuk opened his cross country season taking bronze in the Athletics Ireland Open Cross Country Festival at the new national cross country venue in Abbotstown. Freddy landed bronze finishing nine seconds behind overall winner and former two time AXA Raheny 5 winner Mullingar Harriers Mark Christie. Alan Foley stole the show at this week’s Father Collins Park run winning out in 19 minutes 26 seconds well clear of second place David Willis in 20:31. Paul Larkin took fourth place in 21:39 with Rachel Markey finishing in 23rd place in 27:35.
