The 2017-18 Winter League is reaching its climax with just two rounds remaining. Those races are about over two mile on Wednesday March 28th and Wednesday April 18. L’Estrange Fourth at Juvenile Indoor Championship
Sean L’Estrange was just outside the medals at the national juvenile championships in Athlone I.T on Sunday. L’Estrange took fourth place in the under-17 60 metre final posting 7.19 seconds just .02 of a second off bronze medallist Wymin Sivakumar of Leevale. Clohisey Third In Portlaoise
Mick Clohisey took third place at the Streets of Portlaoise 5K posting 14 minutes 48 seconds. Clohisey was eight seconds behind the race winner DSD’s Hiko Tonosa. The race was the first part of the new Kia Race series which takes place throughout the year. Adopted Laois woman Aileen Cooke posted 22:18 over the Portlaoise course.
