Kevin Dooney led Raheny Shamrock home at this morning’s European Champions Club Cup as the men’s team finish ninth. Dooney came home in 17th place as the first Raheny athlete over the line, some 47 seconds off third place finisher Ramazan Ozdemir of Istanbul BBSK. Kieran Kelly posted one minute 50.67 seconds over 800 meters at the AAI Games in Abbotstown. Kelly took third place just .36 seconds off UCD’s Karl Griffin with John Fitzsimons second in 1.50.47.
