Raheny were well represented in Athlone today at the Glohealth National Juvenies and U23 championships. On Saturday next 24th January over 3,000 goody bags have to be packed in Abco Kovax in Swords from 12.30pm. Unfortunately due to legal reasons Abco will not allow anyone under 16 into the building. Dave Grange was winner of tonight’s Winter League 2 mile race. Dave crossed the line in 11:32, 6 seconds ahead of Niall Power in second (11.38), with Mick King in 3rd (11:50). In the women’s race Sarah Quigley was first across the line in 12:26, with Mairead Mulligan second (12:46), and Elaine McNulty 3rd (13:30).
