Kate Purcell continued her masters cross country with a brilliant national F2 silver medal in the National Masters Cross Country Championship in Westport. Purcell came home in third place over taking F2 (F40) silver behind outright race winner Lizzie Lee. With Fiona Roche fifth, Annette Kealy 16th and Zoe Quinn 36th the Raheny team took O/35 gold. National 50km And Road Racing Round-Up
At the national 50km championships in Donadea, Conor Wynne Walsh posted 4:10:47 and Greg O’Beirne 4:59:55. At the Clogherhead Seaside 5km Gerard Fay clocked 29 minutes nine seconds.
Men’s Team Take Indoor League Sixth Place
A young Raheny Shamrock men’s team took an encouraging sixth place at the national indoor T&F league final in Athlone. Colm Bourke opened proceedings with a best jump of 13.77 to win the triple jump. Juvenile Indoors 2025 Round up
The track season got off to a roaring success for our juvenile athletes. Over the course of 3 days nearly 200 athletes competed across track and field. We had first time competitors, loads of PBs and more silverware on its way home to the Parish. A massive medal haul of nine gold, seven silver and 12 bronze. All the consistent hard work over winter has really paid off. Well done…
