The 2024-25 Winter league continues this Wednesday March 12th with round eight over one mile. There are four races remaining in the season with round three re-fixed for March 26th. O’Neill Claims U20 Silver And Club Record
Des O’Neill landed national U20 silver and broke the club’s 400m indoor record on a big day in Athlone indoor arena. O’Neill started the day by winning his heat in 49.54 seconds. O’Neill went onto clock 47.65 seconds for silver in the 400m final just .02 seconds gold. A great performance by Des who broke Brandon Arrey’s five year-old club record of 47.83 seconds.
