The men’s team followed up Dublin novice medals by claiming Leinster novice silver in Dunboyne today. The team of Eoin O’Dwyer (7th), Cian Charlton (11th), JP Burke (14th) and Giovanni Salvatore (30th) took silver with 58 points, behind Mullingar Harriers with 62 points. The 2024 Autumn Classic series gets underway on Wednesday October 16th. Four two mile road races for those new to athletics and those returning to athletics, this is an excellent short series. National Mixed Cross Country Relay Bronze
There was a first ever national bronze medal at the mixed relay which was held in the Autumn Open Cross Country today. The Raheny team of Niamh Kearney, Lucy Barrett, Shane Spring and Cillian Kirwan posted 18 minutes 26 seconds to take bronze behind gold medallists DCH and silver medallists DSD.
