Thanks to the club members who agreed to avail of a mobile Cardiac Screening Programme delivered by Advanced Medical Services (AMS). However, we require 15 more candidates in order for the programme to proceed. The screening, which takes 20 minutes, can help identify people with risk of underlying cardiac abnormalities/heart disease. But like all screening programmes, it cannot guarantee 100% of picking up all cardiac issues including coronary artery disease….

Kieran Kelly took fourth place at the Newel 5K in Coalisland posting 14 minutes 55 seconds in a very close race. Raheny Shamrock Athletic Club was delighted to welcome the Minister of State for Sport, Charlie McConalogue, to their clubhouse at St. Assam’s Church in Raheny on Tuesday.
