Sophie Becker has been selected in the Irish team for the European Indoor Championships in Istanbul next month. The national 400m champion indoor and outdoors will take part in the 400m and is included in the team for the 4x400m relay. Lots of racing action were the Raheny flag was flown high over the weekend. At the Barcelona half-marathon Wes O’Brien led the team home in 73 minutes 45 seconds.
