Clohisey Second In Sonia O’Sullivan 10
Mick Clohisey took second place at the Sonia O’Sullivan 10 mile in Cobh posting 51 minutes 10 seconds. Clohisey was just 23 seconds off race winner Jake O’Regan of St. John’s AC. Also racing were Helen Carr 73:53, Angela Charlton 80:41 and Denise Kelleher 83:02. Elsewhere, Robert Frewen posted 2:43.56 in the Milan marathon.
PBs Galore At National Juvenile Indoors
It was a weekend of success yet again for our juveniles in Athlone at the National Indoor Champs bringing the indoor season to a close. 11 athletes competed in club colours over both days, most coming away with personal bests in their chosen events. The Hamill Estate Agent 10 mile Battle of Clontarf will take place on Easter Monday 10th April at 10 am in St Anne’s Park. We require at least another 70 marshals for this event to run smoothly.
