Kearney Sets New Club Steeplechase Record

Niamh Kearney set a new club 3,000m steeplechase record when winning the British Milers Club meet in Birmingham on Saturday. Kearney posted 10 minutes 8.66 seconds for victory well clear of Alexandra Joyce in 10.14.50 and Roisin Treacy in third who posted 10.19.65. Weekend Road Racing Round-Up

On Friday, Kieran Kelly won the Foyle Valley Five Mile classic in 24 minutes 29 seconds. Kelly was four seconds clear of Letterkenny’s Danny Mooney. Whereas, Gerard Fay clocked 24:45 at the Bru na Boinne 5km. The 2025 Member First Credit Union Lord Mayor of Raheny Two Mile series gets underway on Tuesday June 3rd at 8pm.
